Gratitude

Gratitude at Campassion

When we think of gratitude, we think of giving thanks. And when kids think of gratitude, they think of Thanksgiving. Around this time, they usually make crafts in school to bring home and share with their families.

Campassion emphasizes to children that gratitude doesn't have to be practiced once a year. It can be made into a daily habit. Kids will conduct their own research on how gratitude benefits children, how to practice thoughtful gratitude journaling, and how to get in the

"gratitude attitude."

We'll decorate their journals and share with peers about what we write. We will journal and share three times a day: morning, midday, and dismissal.

On top of journaling, we'll make some crafts like our gratitude jars to bring home. We'll play some of our favorite gratitude games, including Kahoot! trivia, the "Gratitude Gatherer" game, and "Stop, Drop, and Gratitude."
